Amnesty International Australia works with people in Australia and our region to demand respect for human rights and protect people facing abuse.  We mobilise people, campaign, conduct research and raise money for our  work. We promote a culture where human rights are embraced, valued and  protected.

Bequests

A will to defend human rights.

People of all ages are including Amnesty International Australia in their Wills. Clearly, for an organisation that relies on donations, bequests are extremely valuable. Like no other gift, they keep Amnesty International's flame burning far into the future, enabling us to plan ahead, to increase our effectiveness and to develop our techniques for defending human rights. As a Bequestor, you will feel the benefits too. Suddenly, your Will speaks much more powerfully about who you are and what you believe in. You will live life knowing that, one day, you will have a lasting impact on other people's lives; perhaps contributing far more than you've been able to afford during your lifetime. Importantly also, a bequest is a living decision - simple to make, easy to arrange and personally very rewarding.
